Business profiles are very sensitive. Any edit on a business profile or can be cause for either a verification or suspension. The following edits are especially sensitive: business name and address.
Suspensions require: Appeal processes and business documents to provide to google throughout the appeal process. “Home offices” with visible addresses have a high probability of needing to have their address hidden in order to achieve a successful reinstatement.
Verifications require: Clients to complete video verification by successfully meeting all 3 of googles requirements in 1 continuous upload. Typically after 3 verification rejections the profile status will change to “No more ways to verify” and support must be contacted. This is when the maps departments asks for Google to make a live video call option available. This will become available within 2-3 days of being requested and will typically disappear after being present on the profile for 5-7 days. If the client does not complete the live call within the 5-7 day availability window, Google is contacted again and the process is repeated until the client successfully completes their verification requirements.
